Empowering teachers and students for a brighter future

Supporting education and innovation.

The Orchestra program at Oakton High school is a robust and growing community of about 130-150 young musicians comprising up to five regularly meeting classes and three performing ensembles. Students from all walks of life come together to make music and experience the core values of contemporary music education, among these are our tenants of Camaraderie, Teamwork, Passion, Excellence and above all Music. Our students are involved in a great variety of academic and extracurricular activities and consistently demonstrate a commitment to exceptional music making.
